The Sheikh memorized the Qur’an and became a student of knowledge at a very young age. He studied under prominent Shuyookh, which include Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid Rahimahullah, Abdul-Aziz bin Abd-Allah bin Baz Rahimahullah, Sheikh Salih bin Ali An-Nasir Rahimahullah and Sheikh Al-Muhaddith Abdullah As-Sa’d. In the year 1410 Hijrah, he graduated from the College of Sharia in Riyadh and secured his masters in the year 1413. He began his career as a judge in Riyadh and in Tabook and thereafter, was appointed to the prestigious position of the Imam of Masjid An-Nabawi. Besides that, the Sheikh has authored several books; few of which include Khutub Al-Munbariyya (khutbahs), Facilitating Attainment in the Explanation of the Three Usool, Book on Hanafi Fiqh, Formulated Annotation of the Masterpiece of (Scholars) in the Hanafi Fiqh and others. The Sheikh is a distinguished Qari, a wise judge, an eloquent khateeb, and a man well known for his humble character, and keenness in learning.
