Choosing Your Struggle (Sharing Trade Stories with Eric Andrade of JE Electrical Maintenance)

Hey there everyone!

Welcome back to the Modern Electrician Podcast! Im happy that you're here and that you continue to return to listen to these conversations. Today, I sit down with Eric Andrade. Eric is a 17 year veteran of the electrical trade, a second generation electrician and a second generation Mexican-American living in NYC. Eric has navigated his way through the electrical trade and now finds himself the owner and operator of his own company JE Electrical Maintenance. Eric's path, like many of us, was not an easy one. He has put in thousands of hours in the field and has had a wide variety of experiences who have made him who he is today. We talk about the influence his parents, who were first generation immigrants, had on his life. We chat about the challenges of starting your own business and the reason many of us decide to start our own company. Eric also shares his perspective as a Mexican-American working in the trades and the opportunities this country has offered him and his family.

I hope you all enjoy this conversation! You can find Eric on Instagram at @eric_andrade6. Go follow him, show him some support and see what JE Electrical Maintenance is working on.
