Amanda Zheng: Improving the world through impact investing
In this episode we’re joined by Amanda Zheng, Principal at China Impact Ventures, an impact investment fund focusing on energy innovations, sustainable mobility and smart agriculture, which also seeks to leverage China’s innovations to positively impact developing countries. Zheng is the recipient of AmCham Shanghai’s 2018 Future Leader of the Year award. She previously worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley before transitioning to a career in impact investment at the Sow Asia Foundation in Hong Kong. We discuss her past experiences, impact investing, and the interesting work being done at China Impact Ventures.
