Richard McGregor: U.S.-China-Japan relations and the fate of U.S. power
In this episode we’re joined by Richard McGregor, senior fellow at the Lowy Institute, to discuss his latest book, Asia's Reckoning: China, Japan, and the Fate of U.S. Power in the Pacific Century. McGregor spent most of his career covering these three countries as a journalist and Financial Times bureau chief, living in all three for extended periods of time. His recent book traces the history of U.S.-China-Japan relations since WWII, offering great insight into the current status of this trilateral relationship.
