Titi Baccam: The RaD environment for foreign companies in China
In this episode we’re joined by Titi Baccam, director of Government Relations at AmCham Shanghai and co-author of the latest AmCham Shanghai policy report, Chasing Innovation: RaD Barriers and Incentives in China. The report examines the policy environment, trends and challenges facing foreign companies doing research and development in China. It concludes that government efforts to attract foreign RaD often do not coincide with the core needs of companies. We discuss the report’s findings and the recommendations it provides.
