Mary interviews Mary Augsburger, CEO and Executive Director of the Ohio State Bar Association about their newly developed dues model. For decades the association had 17 different dues categories. Based on member feedback about the model being confusing and unfair, they decided it was time to simplify and modernize their dues structure. They formed a member task force to review the model and did plenty of market research. After getting member input and crunching the numbers, the association's dues categories were simplified to a 3-tier subscription model to allow members a choice of plans that better met their needs.
