02: Building Student Rapport
Show Notes:
Today’s show is with an incredible 2nd-grade teacher from Florida, Melanie Redden. Melanie is here to share her truth about building rapport with kids.
Today you will hear great ideas on how to build rapport with kids, a powerful example of classroom management, and how to celebrate one another through reflecting on mistakes and failures.
Rapport building is the most critical aspect of teaching. When kids know they are heard, loved, and cared about they are more open to learning and holding a higher value towards you and your expectations.
