Twenty Seventh Word 05

This episode is based on the "Twenty Seventh Word" in the Words by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi. The Twenty Seventh Word” is on the possibility of ijtihad in the  present time, the wisdom in the differences of opinion among various madhabs, or schools of jurisprudence in Islam, and the elevated rank of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) above saints of God and all other people except prophets. This particular episode offers a translation and interpretation of a beautiful "salawat" (salutation on the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) that comes at the end of the Twenty Seventh Word, before we move on to the addendum of the treatise, where the primacy of the companions is discussed. For more on the Risale-i Nur, visit www.reflections-RN.org. Read and interpreted by Dr. Mustafa Tuna.
