How to Tear it Down, Without Being Caught Up in the Mob!
According to Jeremiah, the prophetic task is to “pluck up & pull down, destroy & overthrow, to build & plant"--so there’s evidently a lot of destructive work that has to happen to make space for something new! “Tearing down & plucking up” isn’t just being “negative,” especially when you are creating space for new life to bloom. But how do we do this, without being swept up into the mob religion that is simply cynicism & suspicion?
