How is is that Jesus can simultaneously bring such consolation, and yet so much pain? How is that he can seem to simultaneously break our hearts, and mend them? How is it that the way of Jesus can both bring people together, and yet be so divisive? The old prophet says to Mary the mother of Jesus, “a sword will pierce your own soul, too,” and that’s what today’s Zeitcast is about.
