How did he arrive at becoming the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles? Vision. Kevin Baxter had a vision to improve schools, inspire leaders, and eventually, impact Catholic education. As one of five siblings, Kevin had parents who supported and family to cheer him along the way. An athlete in high school, Kevin thought he might play in college, but then made a detour along the way. After college, he did what any good dreamer would do; he headed to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Eventually he set out on a path to teach, lead, and innovate. They say that God has a funny way of steering you in the right direction. Today, Dr. Baxter is on a mission to improve and inspire, with a vision to impact the future of Catholic schools. Dr. Baxter is an athlete, actor, Catholic visionary, a husband, and a father of six.
