On Tuesday's Houston Matters: One year after the death of Houston native George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, members of his family and activists for social justice reflect on his life and legacy. Also this hour: The guilty verdicts in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin for Floyd's death was one of the rare instances of police being prosecuted and found guilty of misconduct following the death of someone they were attempting to arrest or apprehend. Does that mean we should expect more of that in the future? Some Houston social justice activists talk it over.
