  On Wednesday's Houston Matters: We get an update on severe weather overnight across the region. Also this hour: Texas government entities are no longer allowed to mandate masks, Gov. Greg Abbott announced an executive order on Tuesday. The move came at roughly the same hour Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo formally announced the county’s COVID threat level was being downgraded.
