Kris Vaughan was always a go-getter, moving at 100 miles per hour, feeling great pride in her ability to do it all with great efficiency. But that all changed when she decided to run a half marathon, which finally put her already-delicate health into a downward spiral ending in a thyroid crash or what some call adrenal fatigue.
