The Man In the Desert
This is a short story I wrote in my early 20s. Looking back, it was the only way I knew how to express what I was feeling. Though I'm not identified as depressed, at times there is depression. This story is what it feels like. I don't need well wishes; I post this in order to normalize it. I tried to read it how it sounds in my head. And this "take" was my first time reading it aloud.
