This app has been wildly successful in saving lives here in Utah. The SafeUT app connects Utah students with a licensed clinical social worker at UNI, Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute 24/7, 365. Students can call or text and receive an answer within 15 seconds. Students can also submit tips, from act of kindness to weapons. It has spread from Utah public school students to college students. The nation has watched the success, and look to Utah for advise on developing similar apps.
