Jamika Martin '17 of ROSEN Skincare
Jamika Martin '17 is the founder of ROSEN Skincare, a clean beauty brand for people with acne-prone skin. After years of dealing with difficult skin and a lackluster selection of solutions, Jamika began formulating products while studying Business Economics at UCLA. Upon graduating in 2017, she pursued ROSEN full time in the Startup UCLA Summer Accelerator program. Since launching, Jamika has grown ROSEN Skincare on a bootstrapped budget to thousands of customers and secured partners such as Urban Outfitters, FabFitFun and the Target Takeoff Beauty Accelerator.
Jamika is passionate about building thoughtful and meaningful brands while finding balance and taking time for yourself. Her goal is to continue to scale ROSEN as a profitable business heading toward an acquisition while allowing flexibility, peace, and mindfulness for herself and all those involved in the journey.
