Hugh Lee discusses TV's influence on his upbringing and his new EP "TV's Foster Child"
Up and coming Hip Hop artist Hugh Lee hails from the Austin neighborhood in Chicago. His new EP is called "T.V.'s Foster Child" and explores his experiences growing up in a household of a hard working family making their ends meet. The EP is filled with countless references to pop culture and movies he's learned by spending hours watching TV at home, while left to his devices. Hugh spoke with Jesse Menendez about the project and how he uses pop culture references to describe his own experiences and upbringing.
