I believe the future of music education in Minnesota is in good hands. In this special episode we have a new host, Evah Engel from the University of Minnesota. She steps in to talk with other college students about challenges they face as future music educators. Background of the College Students: Evah Engel attends the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as an Instrumental Music Education major. At the time of recording, she is a junior and plans to student teach in Spring 2021. Nahal Javan attends St. Olaf College as an Instrumental Music Education major and plays the french horn. At the time of recording, she is a senior and student teaching during Spring 2020. Julian Manley attends Minnesota State University at Mankato as an Instrumental Music Education major and plays the trumpet.
