Terri-One is an American Hip Hop artist/producer based out of Detroit, MI. A seeker of justice, he is determined to use his voice to bring knowledge to the people and speak truth to power. Terri-One has been a fixture on Detroit’s rap circuit for many years, allowing him to speak to the state of the world with hard earned wisdom and rare clarity. Born Terione Wilson, the young artist teamed up with Elluzionz to form the group Darksick in 1996, calling himself T-Will. In 1999, they both went on to collaborate with a group called Known Felons. Each group achieved moderate success, but Wilson eventually set out to expand his skill set so that he could carry on as a solo artist. He enrolled at The Recording Institute Of Detroit, where he learned production and engineering from Motown legends, all while continuing to improve his skills as an artist. Wilson reemerged in 2015, after what he describes as “an awakening to his true voice.” He dubbed himself Terri-One, a name representing his newfound mixture of humbleness and authenticity. The O in one is capitalized to represent the divine spark inside the artist. After many years in the game, Terri-One has emerged as a truly important voice worth paying attention to.
