Ep.17 - Lucy and Saul have a discussion about Soil and Water - two subjects that may seem pretty bland but are essential to making your garden thrive....

Lucy and Saul are fully aware that the world has taken a monumental shift - the Coronavirus outbreak has left our little bit of the world in Horticulture reeling both personally and professionally. So we both decided that instead of our longer format episodes every 3 weeks or so - we going to record shorter podcasts, through the week, to bring you a slice of our lives at East Donyland Hall and Stonelands and beyond - trying to bring a little bit of spring and sunshine to your eardrums.

Saul and Lucy wanted to talk about two aspects of their gardens that may not excite all and are oft overlooked when starting out in gardening - Soil and Water. Both realise two of the fundamental building blocks to making a thriving garden are the soil and how its managed, and the way we irrigate our plots. Expect a little science, a little mulch and alot of chat on the benefits of seep hose.
