Accelerating your Skills

A way to accelerate your learning of new skills, is to practice, repeat, review and test yourself! So the goal here is how quickly can you test yourself? How fast can you fail and learn from your lessons or mistakes? The key indicator to adapting to a new skill is the ability to realise what works and what doesn’t quickly.   So let’s look at 10 quick ways to accelerate the learning process: 1)    Re-memorise before bed. 2)    Share with someone close to each and every day. 3)    Be curious. If you simply ask your mind a question, it will go out and find the answers to it at an unconscious level. 4)    If at any point you lose focus or fear starts to creep in. (And as we discussed in previous calls is a good chance it may)… Go back to your WHY? Because if your WHY is big enough for HOW will present itself. 5) Create Triggers and anchors 6) Visualise the end result. 7)    State - Before you sit down to learn any new skill you want to put yourself in a peak state. 8)    Take breaks - it is really important that you take breaks to let this new material set into your mind, find its neural pathways and become a part system. 9)    New environments - learn more about your new skill in different and new environments.  10) Journaling - Basically what you can do is read a book or listen to an audio, take a 10 minute break and get fresh.
