EP16: Why celebrate Christmas if you are African?
Christmas celebrations is common in most African countries from Ghana and Nigeria in the west to Kenya in the east and Egypt in the north plus South Africa in the south but knowing the history behind the celebration and also who brought it to us as Africans, is it time we stopped celebrating it? Although most christians will admit that Jesus was not born on the 25th of December and that X'mas has pagan roots but still chose to celebrate it and not only that guilt trip others who don't celebrate it. I won't even start on the commercialisation of the holiday. Anyway here is what the Wahaala Boys take on the subject.
