COVID-19’s lockdown, for a brief moment, gave us a window into what a greener future would look like. From pollution levels going down and more birds being spotted, to rivers turning cleaner and snow capped mountains becoming visible after decades, the earth seemed to be repairing itself. But during this time, what was India’s environment ministry doing?
