Kayla Burke-Ozuna a university student from New York City decides to spend her summer holidays volunteering in a low-income community in Ecuador’s coastal city of Guayaquil.
She talks us through this experience and the lessons she learned. Expressing some of the differences/similarities between life with her host family in Ecuador and that of her own in the US.
