The Munich Olympics Massacre
In the early hours of the 5th September, 1972, eight armed gunmen broke into the apartments of sleeping Israeli athletes and coaches, taking them hostage and beginning a series of events which would turn the Olympics of Peace into the Olympics of Horror.
