In this episode we have Dr. Ashwin anna who shares with us his childhood, college days and how there was a sense of longing to know everything. He went and tried the Buddhist path and various schools to fill his longing. Around a certain age, he achieved a lot on paper, but it was not the same within. He elaborated on how he joined various campaigns when he was in America to oppose racism.   11:35 – A quick notice on how his childhood teachings of Religion were not so much convincing to settle the conflict within. According to Buddhist way of life, the nature of a human being is Harmony a Peace. He went on seeing Buddhist and learned various techniques. (Zen - tantra) He talks about “A Meditation with eyes open”  16:50 – Things changed dramatically after IE completion (Shambhavi) When he attended the first module of IE, he felt and knew that this was it, I have arrived. He met sadhguru in 2007. He says how his mind settled after some time of Shambhavi Practice; he overcame the conflict within.  24:10 – Is a Mental Health Pandemic coming due to covid-19? Dr. Ashwin talks about how stress Is playing and important role in this situation. He shares his 17 years of sadhana experience.  27:51 – Dr Ashwin shows the effect of yogic practices a meditation through a power-point presentation along with evidence from Harvard. In the PPT he shows the effect on our mood before a after Isha kriya. At Rutgers university they conducted an experience of after and before IE online. IE online improves your levels in Joy, Mindfulness, optimism etc. and decrease stress in a big way.  37:17 – BSP Research; According to research at Indiana University School of Medicine, Depression a Anxiety took a very steep curve, and awareness, observation a Happiness levels increased greatly. After BSP the hormone that releases when you smoke week, increases in the body, and makes you feel blissful.   42:15 – Contact Dr. Ashwin.  43:15 – Advise from Dr Ashwin; he states how also following the rules of ayurvedic diet effects the mind and body in a huge way.
