We spend our whole lives chasing the positive emotions and avoiding negative ones. But why? Why do we want to avoid negative emotion so desperately? What is so wrong with feeling sad, disappointed and frustrated sometimes? What if we stop trying to be happy all the time and rather focus on living a truly wholesome and authentic life by following our dreams.The willingness and the ability to feel the negative emotion rather than avoiding or resisting it is what it takes for us to achieve our dreams. And the best part is once we stop resisting and open ourselves to feeling the negative emotions, we realize they aren’t so bad. And that’s when the whole experience of life becomes alive for us.
