Michael Lastoria is serial entrepreneur known for his anti-establishment approach to building a business and brand. He builds companies that are design-driven, culture-centric, brand-led, and most importantly, morally sound. He is currently Founder + CEO of apizza, the D.C.-based fast casual pizza concept, which he founded in 2012 in Washington, D.C.’s historic H Street NE corridor. Michael's vision since day-one has been to create an employee-first, design-driven, and community-centric brand He's been a public advocate to raise the minimum wage and has focused on creating a one-of-a-kind employee culture among apizza's ampersand-tattooed Tribe.   He's also the co-founder of JWALK, a New York based full service creative agency he helped grow into a powerful force in the agency world before he sold the company in 2017 to beauty powerhouse, Shiseido.  He joins ONE37pm's Corban Goble to talk about his humble beginnings from a 500 person 'hamlet' in upstate New York, taking a leap of faith at just 22 and moving to New York to launch an adtech media company, and selling it in just four years to a private equity firm, launching is entrepreneurial journey.
