Black Girl Magic with Cosmopolitan Beauty Director, Julee Wilson

I think we can all agree that the past year has been eye-opening on so many levels with regards to race in America. From devastation came growth, and an expanded dialogue around equality.

As we approach Juneteenth this weekend, we are thrilled to welcome the amazing Julee Wilson, Beauty Director of Cosmopolitan. Julee is one of the strongest, most positive voices & role models for women in general, and especially for women of color. We love her message of real beauty, her challenge to companies to do better, and her intentional mindset to always “stand in her dopeness.”

Julee was one of the early definers of the cultural concept known as “Black Girl Magic,” and we can’t think of a better human to help us celebrate the beauty, power and resilience of Black women, today and every day. When she’s not making magazines, delivering beauty advice to her 68k+ followers on @missjulee, or shaping cultural paradigms, she can be found raising her two adorable littles - because this #momboss does it all!
