Originally from Manchester, Gill Gairdner and Rod Alston, moved to Eden in Leitrim with an idea to make a garden that is both productive and beautiful, and a farm that is capable of supporting those living there. Their exceptional horticulturist skills, plus a steely determination, resulted in them pioneering organic farming in Ireland. (1977)
