Hitting “Reset” During COVID with ABC News’ Paula Faris

One of the most fascinating byproducts of this crazy time has been the amount of people suddenly pressing “reset” on their entire lives, either by necessity or by happenstance. Maybe you were the family who fled New York City to avoid the virus epicenter, and discovered you have never been happier living in the country. Perhaps you’re the employee being furloughed, and took the time to write that book you’ve had in your head for years. Maybe you’re trying something else new, because…. well, why the heck not? When the only thing that really matters anymore is our health, professional failings seem less scary in comparison. Many of us realized that things which previously seemed "impossible" - because we were all stuck in the confines of our job guardrails - might not be so impossible after all.  A lot of us have opened their minds to new possibilities. Many people are ready to take that “leap of faith” and do something that perhaps before seemed like it could only be a pipe dream. Life seems more transient and unpredictable but for many, that’s actually opened up a world of options that never before existed. And since Paula Faris's new book is titled “CALLED OUT: Why I Traded Two Dream Jobs for a Life of True Calling,” we wanted to bring her here to help empower us all to hit the big ‘ole RESET button on our lives during this crazy time.
