90 - On The Precipice
Sometimes, I simply wish I didn't like football. Saints professionally dispatched of Bournemouth 2-0 at the Vitality with goals from Che Adams and former Cherry Danny Ings on Sunday, and whilst a dominant first half display looked promising for the home side - two clinical moments at the end of each half helped to adjust the chances of Premier League survival from slim to non-existent. For Saints, it's apparently "not a rivalry", but over the weekend - Twitter suggested otherwise️ - either way, for the Cherries, the focus was simply to win. Whilst the early possession was there, the goals were not - therefore any plans for the release of a "Great Escape 3" DVD have been well and truly canned... (probably).
