CBS News reports more than 31,000 cases worldwide with 638 deaths, all but 2 in mainland China.  According to The Wall Street Journal, Singapore is investigating “three new cases of infected citizens who have no known links to previous cases and haven’t recently traveled to China”.  The World Health Organization has announced a $675 million dollar preparedness and response plan covering February to April 2020.  The plan focuses on: Rapidly establishing international coordination and operational support; Scaling up country readiness and response operations; Accelerating priority research and innovation.
