Hailing from a liberal Gujarati family, Niyatii N Shah is a hardcore Mumbaikar at heart. Despite having completed her graduation in Commerce, she was not passionate about business. Her interest was in Psychology and she was keen on pursuing something in the field of parenting and sexual health. Eventually, with the motive of spreading awareness among masses about sexual health, she set up a one-stop-shop 'Averti'. Averti imparts knowledge concerning the sexual health of children so that they develop a better understanding of their body and accept their sexual responsibility.
