Lynne: Athlete, Activist a Recovering Porn Addict

Lynne was first exposed to pornography when she stumbled upon it on the family computer when she was 8 years old. She didn’t seek it out again until she was a teenager, when at the age of 16, she experienced a traumatic event that resulted in her turning to porn as a coping mechanism. Her porn consumption escalated throughout her years in college where it affected her relationships and pursuit of hobbies. Her addiction pushed her deeper and deeper into isolation, until she got the courage to tell the truth about her struggle to her boyfriend. Hear Lynne explain to podcast host, Garrett Jonsson, about her experience struggling with pornography and how the understanding and support of loved ones has lead her to be porn-free for over 270 days.  Click here to access the resources discussed in this episode.
