Jay Taylor is a social worker dedicated to social justice and equality initiatives. Taylor has worked in anti-human trafficking, community health centers, young men’s restorative programing, psychiatric hospitals, university wellness centers, and as an adjunct college professor. His involvement with men’s issues began when he worked with men in anti-human trafficking and domestic violence programs. Today, Jay is a Resource Trainer and Specialist in Violence Prevention for Colleges a Universities and Mental Health Education at A Call To Men, a violence prevention organization and respected leader on issues of manhood, male socialization and its intersection with violence, and preventing violence against all women and girls. We sat down with Jay Taylor during the Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Summit in 2019, and our conversation about how pornography influences problematic behavior, particularly in men, is still relevant today.  You can learn more about A Call To Men and their efforts in the anti-exploitation movement at acalltomen.org.
