Today I interview my friend Zach Westhoff about studying in Japan and how to learn Japanese as a high school student.

Zach is full of helpful advice and really know what it feels like to take advantage of being in Japan and learning Japanese while in the country.
We talk about how he studied while abroad in Tokyo and Kobe, what mistakes he has made, and the language tipping point, plus the difference between conversations and interactions.
