Normally at this time of year, Adam, Darrell and Rebekah would be discussing the Oscar nominations - the films that (deservedly or otherwise) were nominated and those that were overlooked. But because 2020 was… well, 2020, the Oscars for this year have been postponed.

So this month the team are looking back to the year which produced arguably the strongest ever line-up of Best Picture nominees - 1976.

Rocky, Taxi Driver, Network, Bound For Glory and All The President's Men - any of these films would have been a worthy winner.

The team discuss the films in turn, how they relate to each other, how they were all commenting on US society and politics of the time, and how they stand up today.
