John McGowan is a certified Google Education Trainer and the creator for the g(Math) Add-on for Docs, Sheets, and Forms with over 11.5 million worldwide users. He has been teaching secondary math for over 15 years and loved to adapt the fail-forward mentality and push the bounds of technology integration in the math classroom. John's passion is to ignite student interest in math by creating dynamic visualizations and using coding to give personalized instruction and feedback to students instantly. His Moonshot is to make Coding the new Calculus.

John has presented worldwide on using g(Math) and other digital tools in the classroom and incorporating coding into the math curriculum. He recently embarked on a new career to leave the classroom to join up with Texthelp to develop g(Math) full-time and make a greater impact on teaching and learning by making digital math easy and accessible to all.
