Using her wit, charm and straight from the hip wisdom, she offers the opportunity for you to nurture your own inner wild by creating space for movement and flow. She works with people on an emotional, physical and spiritual level to help them find their flow again. By addressing their pressing concerns we are often able to deep dive into the stored trauma held within the body on a cellular level. The treasure chest of stored trauma will manifest on the surface levels in such forms as body aches, pains or illnesses as well as feeling emotionally offset or depressed or stressed from their own ‘norm’. You see, as we go through life we gain so many experiences, both good and bad. When things are good, we often express them outwardly a so freely. When things are not so good, we tend to withhold our emotions and thoughts. We tense up, hold our breath, bite our tongue and ‘swallow’ the stresses seemingly daily. As you can imagine, this creates a blockage in our natural mental, physical and spiritual flow of energy. BENITA WALLIS SAYS: "I have always been a highly intuitive individual which had me knowing things without explanation or teachings. As I got older I started noticing that I was in connection with a spiritual team that often gave me advice. They would leave me clues as if on cue to make sure that I was paying attention. You know, I was presented with Reiki numerous times over a period of a couple of years and I ignored it. But my team was persistent. I inevitably ended up taking the Reiki training. I actually ended up taking levels one and two - 3 TIMES over! Really it was all because I doubted myself and to be fully honest with you - it was not linear for my type A personality brain that had to witness the cause and effect in action. Reiki does not offer that in the sense - example: You push a button and it lights up a bulb. With my curious brain I doubted the modality and yet, had to know more! I remained curious. I wanted to know more about the magic at hand. I mean, I have seen, heard and felt some pretty cool things in my years growing up that I could never explain, like my spiritual team, so really.. My interest peaked. After a few hearty conversations with people connected to the metaphysical side of life, I realized that there was more than what could be met with the eye going on and no, not everyone could sense the same things I was. Interesting. Ok interested provoked even more. I was encouraged to take mediumship building classes - so yep, to prove this was a bunch of hokey, I did take the classes. Wow! The world got a whole lot more interesting suddenly. I began learning more about metaphysics. I dug in hard to learn all the fun things available - pendulums, oracle cards, astrology, chakras and more. Then I was introduced to learning about cords, contracts and akashic records and how a body stores and collects data from traumas via PTSD and so much more. A picture was forming for me and I began to step forward to play with all that I had learned so far. I got the lessons, but I needed the practice where honest results could be witnessed. I took it all out to the pasture and practiced on the horses, the dogs, the cats. They soon showed me so much more than what I even could fathom. Naturally I got more curious. I got brave and began working on family members and close friends. They gave some pretty darn cool reviews on what they had experienced on the receiving end - it was matching what I found with the animals. It became very clear that energy healing was real. I was able to use the wisdom from all of my teachings and form it into a new modality of healing. I refer to it as “Benita’s Healing Energy Soup”. Truly it reminds me of cooking with my grandmother where there was no one formal recipe - it was always just a random composition of “a little bit of this and a pinch of that and if you are cooking it like this, then you do that”. Each meal she made was unique every time she made it. And the same goes with healing sessions - no two are alike! Just like no two humans are alike. For me it is easy to digest it that way because our human experiences, memories, bodies, and such are all such a unique compilation, so how could any healing session ever really be the same as another’s? Similar - sure, but never the exact same. Even the animals showed me that no matter how much I tried - their bodies needed different things at different times. Who do you work with? Many of the people I work with share that they feel lost, depressed, unmotivated, feeling overwhelmed and/or stressed in their lives with an overlying sense of heaviness. They report feeling disconnected and a sense of hopelessness from their friends, family or work. More often than not, the people that book with me also usually have physical aches, pains or diagnosed ailments of one kind or another. I tend to work with people who are at the same time, rather curious, more open and really willing to explore the uncommon pathways for their healing. They all seem to have an inner knowing that there is another way through this other than with just usage and aid of western medicine. When I get to work with a person who is open minded in such ways and who is willing to explore, plus be a little out of the box in the approach, I get excitedly curious all over again. I am able to explore not only the surface wounds, but also, I am able to help these people really dig into the underlying, behind the scenes, deep rooted initial trigger point that created the wounding in the first place! This gets to be exciting and liberating for the client too as it becomes a big ol’ AH-HA moment for them when we uncover its true source and they no longer feel the blockage. The people I get to meet up with, truly create their own healing! I am merely witnessing them, offering them guidance with a bit of a gentle nudge into a seemingly super simple new perspective shift. The results have been amazing by doing this! Their energy fields lighten up, they carry themselves a different way - even to the extent of imbalanced eyes, shoulders, hips, arm lengths, etc. This is why I also really enjoy doing the before and after pictures of clients - they too can see the physical shifts themselves. It wows them every time. I have often thought I should record their faces when they see the differences in one picture to the next too! How do you work with your ideal client? I work with people one on one as this offers them optimal space to be open and honest. This creates a very intimate and personable healing opportunity for them. We meet in person or we can meet on a live interactive platform such as Zoom, Skype or FaceTime. In our 90 minute sessions we get to explore the current issues that they are facing, their current concerns and what they hope to achieve as an end result. After our initial session, we meet again in 48-72hours for a 15 minute reconnect connection. This is where the person gets to ask any questions that have come up since our session or to share any concerns, achievements, celebrations or to just connect. I believe that in our sessions we cover so much, it is often hard to recall everything and to mentally digest it all as we go pretty deep together. By holding space, witnessing and answering questions after our sessions, I feel the person is again able to feel ‘held’ in a different way that leaves them feeling a sense of “I got them”. They are still supported, encouraged and valued. Many share that this is one thing that I do that stands me out from the crowds of others. They tend to feel a great sense of value in this as many say that their sessions go by so fast and they often forget some of the things shared, explored and in turn, leaving them in a bit of a ‘panic or spin’. They love the reconnect option. Info about your topic/focus I work with people on an emotional, physical and spiritual level to help them find their flow again. Some people will hold the stress in their shoulders, some in their jaws, their throats, some will hold it in their stomachs and others will even withhold their breath for a brief moment of time or they will simply shallow breathe. Really, there are countless ways a human will hold and store their stresses and woundings. As you can imagine the body is required to compensate for this. Over time this wanes on the body. Ripple effects in the body happen quite quickly and create dis-ease in one form or the other in the body. You know when you get triggered or upset with something? Have you noticed how the body responds to this? Face will turn red, our palms get sweaty, our minds will begin to race, our skin may get flushed, we feel panicky, eyes begin to dart around in a panic, our vision goes a bit blurry, our hearing gets distorted and that is just on the surface that we can see! Inside of our bodies it too is a big ol’ rat race! The stress hormone called cortisol gets activated, our fight or flight response gets triggered. That is when our blood pressure will quickly rise, our heart beats super fast, our digestion slows right down, our excretory system tenses and seizes up and our immune systems get thwarted in action since the body is now too busy focusing on the stress responses. This is all just physical reactions without looking at the emotional reactions that come into play. The human brain processes and imprints so many things at once. When a person has a traumatic experience, they will be able remember only a portion of the sights, sounds, activities and feelings associated with the event. Then as time wanes the brain recalls less and less actual facts, but instead will recreate its own version. This is why after a traumatic incident many companies or police will push for a write up of some sort as soon as possible - in the haste of the stress, the mind forgets the details in a short amount of time as its main focus is on the safety response of fight-flight. However, the body does not forget. It may not know all the details, but you don’t need to see why a baby is crying in order to suddenly witness a mom - even if it is not her child become anxiety filled. The body stores this memory and holds it in its data bank. There are so many various instances that can be shared here of how this applies on so many levels .To share a few examples with you quickly and briefly: ⁃ As an adult you develop a bad knee - when you take the time to really look at the time it began to ache, you find it correlates to a current event that also happened when you were young, but it had laid dormant until the memory was triggered in your subconscious ⁃ your lower back tends to consistently give you issues at the same time of year annually and coincidentally it is around your birthday time and your family was never there for you ⁃ You get headaches after smelling a particular scent - perhaps that gave you flashbacks to childhood memory and you suddenly recall being hit in the head when you were young with that same scent present ⁃ adopted children can grow up with abandonment issues even though they had supportive families who had adopted them ⁃ Your mother who was highly stressed in her pregnancy, could create anxiety in your adult life which later turns into IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) ⁃ You get pushed down a set of stairs in your childhood by a sibling and you got a kink in your neck, but if you haven’t truly forgiven them, you may have neck issues later on as an adult There are again, so many instances of where the body shows storage of memories that you are not even fully aware of until we read your body map together to extract these keys to unlock the doors to your pressing dis-eases. Your mind, body, history are all a treasure map waiting to be revealed to me. By working the unique mapping system I use, we are able to shift so much together! What are some of the results that you have had with your sessions? I have had people reporting back that they: ⁃ feel happier ⁃ calmer, secure on the inside ⁃ optimistic again ⁃ emotionally balanced ⁃ confident in themselves and their choices ⁃ feel refreshed, rejuvenated, inspired ⁃ become more focused, motivated, driven ⁃ increased energy, vitality ⁃ have a returned sense of humour ⁃ feel less muscle strain and/or pain ⁃ decreased amount to no headaches ⁃ more physical mobility, stronger, capable ⁃ easier menstrual cramps ⁃ eating better with improved digestion ⁃ sleeping habits back in balance ⁃ increased memory ⁃ relationships thriving (They also have a peaked interest in knowing more now too!)
