Harvey Weinstein tests postive for Coronavirus; also Senator Rand Paul tests positive too; Romney, Lee, Cruz in self-isolation
Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who was convicted of rape and sexual assualt, has tested positive for Coronavirus. Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison. Also, US Senator Rand Paul becomes the first sitting US Senator to test positive for Coronavirus. He is being isolated and other Senators are wondering if they are going to be found positive too. Stay inside and wash your hands!
I'm glad Paul was tested, but the AP notes that Paul was asymptomatic and tested "out of an abundance of caution" due to his travel schedule. Americans are told to stay home unless they have clear symptoms of cov-19 and testing shortages. But apparently Paul was able to secure a test fairly quickly.
