Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Kat knew at a young age that she wanted to become a psychotherapist. Completing a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience in Philadelphia, she then moved to Hartford to work as a Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric clinical researcher, followed by earning her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
