Bushra Rehman is well known and acclaimed Urdu language writer born in Bahawalpur Pakistan. Her style of writing is engaging and heartfelt. Bushra Rehman's list of Afsanas, Novels and articles is endless.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bushra Rehman in Lahore at her home. this episode is about the time spent with Bushra, talking about her work and sharing sweet memories of my late brother Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti.

This was my first ever experience of meeting an accomplished writer before reading her work. I was so mesmerised by her way of conversation, could listen to her for hours. When I read her work, which she gave me as present, it was so interesting to read as if I am not reading but Bushra is narrating the story to me. 

They say, you can get glimpses of a writer in their work. which is true except that when we read such work, we can only imagine. 

However, in my case since I have already met her, I didn't have to imagine anything. As Bushra's novels and short stories are about social issues very much the core of our society, anyone can relate to them. Bushra has written many best seller that are about social and cultural topics, tragedies, relationships and tender loving moments of her characters.

It was delightful for me because reading provoked so many questions for me as I could see so much of Bushra's  in her stories.
