Meera Joshi, new acting administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, says automation has “extremely real and broad impacts.” Joshi was speaking at FMCSA’s 20th annual Analysis, Research, and Technology Forum, held virtually earlier this week. She said her tenure would include a focus on understanding the coming impacts of automation and preparing workforces for them.
