Black women are sometimes the only person of color in professional spaces.  It can be hard not to feel alone, and often times like we don't have access to the rules of the game.   Afua Osei,  co-Founder of She Leads Africa wanted to change this.  In this episode, she talks about how she went from vision to execution. Afua also talks about being raised in a Ghanaian family in the DMV and moving to Nigeria, where she eventually founded She Leads Africa, a lifestyle brand aimed at helping women of the African diaspora to learn to navigate their careers Moving to Africa was NOT a part of her plan, but Afua shows that amazing things happen when you follow your heart. She created a successful lifestyle brand that helps so many women of the diaspora because of it!
