1. @eirhtugmas: Create a Safe Space for Trans and Gender-Expansive Clientele
As a service provider, you no doubt want all your clients to feel at ease in your salon or studio. However, you may not know the best ways to create a safe space when it comes to your transgender and gender-expansive clientele. That's where @eirhtugmas comes in. On today's episode of PMU School she explains a few easy ways you can help make your studio a safe and inclusive space for all. Samantha (Sam) Guthrie has a formal education background in Queer issues, Gender studies, and Social Justice. She is passionate about Paramedical Tattooing and PMU and the significant positive impact they can provide to Trans and Gender Expansive clients She is committed to educating artists on how to best serve Trans and Gender Expansive clientele, and strongly believes that there is a gap between the Artists offering life changing services and Trans and Gender Expansive clients that could benefit from them. Through creating her training program, PMU in Transition, Sam strives to help bridge the gap through better understanding of clients’ experiences, cultural differences, and how every service offered can be utilized.
