Welcome back to class y'all, this week we hit up the Baki season that was released early this month. The way Netflix is numbering the seasons is admittedly insanely confusing because I believe they are calling this Season 2 when it is actually Season 3 so please don't hate us for calling it that lol. Netflix renewed the series for a second season on March 19, 2019.[31] On March 5, 2020, it was announced that the main staff TMS Entertainment would be returning to produce the second season with the addition of a new character designer and art director. The 13 episode second season was released exclusively on Netflix on June 4, 2020. Its opening theme song is performed by Granrodeo and its ending theme is performed by Ena Fujita.[32][33].
