Darkman - Part 2 (with James Gray)

After a brief sabbatical during which he journeyed deep into the Sonora desert and consumed a truly staggering quantity of illegal hallucinogens, uh, probably, James Gray returns to the Hold-Up to finish our discussion of Sam Raimi’s Darkman (1990). We also talk a lot about comics, a subject I know very little about but about which I’m more than willing to speak with authority. The video I mention, the one where Jason Pargin talks about sea changes in internet reading habits, is fascinating for anyone trying to make a living getting people’s attention online (and for anyone who was a big fan of pre-2016 Cracked.com).
