Should you get a job or start a business..? ???? Contrary opinion of the day: Not everyone should be an entrepreneur. In fact, most people shouldn’t be entrepreneurs. I think the narrative of “everyone should be an entrepreneur” or “why haven’t you started a business yet?” is EXTREMELY toxic. In a world where everyone wants to be #1, there’s a huge void of (and uncanny amount of shame for being) solid #2’s. Not everyone should be an entrepreneur. In fact, a lot of times you can learn a lot more by joining a fast growing company early in your career. In this episode I answer the question: “Should you get a job or should you start a business?" I also talk about one of the biggest falacies in the entrepreneur world…and why most “successful” entrepreneurs aren’t actually making any money.
